New 2017 Scholarship Applications Online

Deadline to apply with all supporting documents is March 2, 2017

Glendale, California — Students seeking scholarships from the Community Foundation of the Verdugos (CFV) can review available awards and requirements by going to www.cfverdugos.org/scholarships/

Scholarship applications will only be accepted online and information about this is also on the CFV’s website.  The online application is a new process for 2017. Students, parents, and educators must note that any supporting documents such as transcripts or letters of recommendation must be submitted with the online application by the deadline date of March 2, 2017.  Please email info@cfverdugos.org with questions or call 818-241-8040.

The majority of scholarship awards are for graduating high school seniors from Burbank, Glendale, and the Foothill Communities of La Crescenta, La Canada-Flintridge, Montrose and Verdugo City.  There are a limited number of awards for Glendale Community College students and the “Big Man Fritsche” Scholarship is open to students planning to attend, or already attending,  vocational-type studies.  The CFV is a nonprofit that manages donor funds; scholarship funds set up by individuals, groups, companies or the CFV provide the source for these awards. Anyone interested in opening a scholarship or donor advised fund may contact the CFV for more information.
