During the 2023 grant cycle, the Community Foundation of the Verdugos (CFV) is accepting requests from any 501(c)(3) that provides services in the Verdugo Region. This is an open, competitive cycle enabling nonprofits to request funding for the most important needs that include impact and improve the quality of life in the Verdugo region. If your agency received a grant from the CFV’s 2022 grant cycle, you are able to apply again this year with a different request that complies with the CFV’s 2023 grant guidelines.
Deadline for application submission is midnight June 15, 2023.
Additional Should-Knows
- A site visit may be requested if your application is accepted for further consideration
- You will be notified if your application is not accepted
- The grant recipient is required to submit a final report evaluating the outcome of the program and/or the use of funds within 180 days (six months) of the grant’s approval for future funding eligibility
- The organization should be able to support the Foundation in its media efforts by issuing press releases or publicizing the grant in its own publications, signage, plaques, etc.
