To ensure that the health of donors, grantees, community-at-large, board members and staff is at the forefront during the continuation of Covid-19 in 2021, the Foundation office remains closed to the public. The CFV continues to monitor Los Angeles County Public Health’s communication on the Covid-19 pandemic as well as that of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Although the physical office remains closed (as of this February 2021 posting), staff are working remotely and intermittently in the office for key areas of service between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please call the office at 818-241-8040 if you need assistance of any type. Using the emails below will also provide a timely response to any query:
Donations, donor fund information/donor grants, and general Foundation Business:
Edna Karinski, CEO Email Edna@cfverdugos.org
Finances, donor fund information, and scholarships:
Julie Burg, Controller Email Julie@cfverdugos.org
We are here to serve in the best way that we are able. In 2020, all activities by the Foundation continued which included fund management, the issuance of DAF grants, the issuance of scholarship awards, completion of the CFV’s 2020 grant cycle for area nonprofits, and the issuance of grants specific to Covid-19 needs. Donor advisors wishing to have a 2021 grant issued to a nonprofit should not hesitate to contact Edna Karinski via email so that processing can begin as efficiently as possible. We thank fund holders who have continued to support local and national nonprofits with grants even during these difficult times.
